Privacy Policy
Effective 2026. This explains what we collect when you request a quote, why, and how to control it.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, garage address, the details of the job you're asking about, and any photos or notes you choose to share. If you enter a referral code, we record that too.
How we use it
- To prepare and send you a quote, and to follow up about it.
- To text or email you about your quote, scheduling, your appointment, and your receipt.
- To schedule and carry out the service you request.
- To process payment for a job you've approved.
- To run our referral program.
Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages from Your Garage Man, we use them to send your quote, ask for your approval, send your scheduling link, and send your receipt and referral code once a job is complete. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and only share what each one needs to do its job:
- Google (Sheets, Drive, Apps Script) — stores your request, photos and job details.
- Twilio — delivers text messages.
- Stripe — processes payment. We never see or store your card details ourselves.
- Calendly — scheduling, if you book an appointment through our scheduling link.
We don't sell your information to anyone.
Photos
Photos you upload with your quote request are used only to prepare an accurate quote and to plan the job. They're stored privately and aren't shared publicly without asking you first.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and job records for as long as needed to run the business and meet our own recordkeeping needs, and delete or anonymize information on request where we're able to.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.
- Contact us (below) to ask what we have on file, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it.
Children
Our services and this site are directed at adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
